This is a song about the dangers of letting a toxic person (an actual vampire in this instance) into your heart.

The lyrics make up a quilt of painful memories, and personal experiences that I wish I could forget, and shows them through the eyes of a poor fellow who invites a vampire into his home one lonely night.
